WWE has released Zelina Vega yesterday and the company posted an official statement from its official website.
"WWE has come to terms on the release of Zelina Vega. We wish her all the best in her future endeavors."
There is much speculation as to the timing of her release from the company, as she apparently posted a tweet from her Official Twitter Account stating that she's in favor of unionization, the statement was simply put as;
"I support unionization."
For the past few months, several WWE Superstars including Vega have been battling with the company over the freedom to branch out to outside mediums such as Twitch, which the WWE and Vince McMahon have a steadfast policy against. So along with her support for unionization statement, her accounts on Twitch and as of recently OnlyFans, could be another sticking post as to why the WWE released her.
