Gayle Schechter, the widow of ECW Legend Balls Mahoney has started a fundraising campaign, to send her son Chris to college. Schechter has has some misfortunes the past few years, as an accident at her place of employment has sidelined her for the past two years. So, she is unable to support herself or her son. Fortunately, her parents have helped tremendously since her accident. But, they are unable to assist for much longer.
Schechter's fundraising campaign is in the form of a memorial t-shirt, paying homage to her late husband. Most wrestling fans are aware, that Balls Mahoney passed away in 2016 from a sudden heart attack, while he and Schechter were home relaxing in Spring Lake Heights, NJ. The memorial t-shirt can be purchased at this link and 100% of the proceeds will go to Chris' college fund.
