It was announced earlier today that former WWE & World Heavyweight Champion Kane (Glen Jacobs) will be in the latest inductee to the WWE Hall of Fame, Class of 2021. Kane made a huge impact in the WWE, debuting in 1997 at WWE In Your House: Badd Blood, when he interfered in the Hell in a Cell Match between Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker, costing Taker the match. It was later revealed that Kane was the storyline half brother of The Undertaker and the two had a fierce blood feud that lasted for decades.
The brothers set aside their differences and captured tag team gold on several occasions, by winning the WWE World Tag Team Championship and Kane himself is a 12 time tag champion, then he set his sights on singles gold. Having several runs as World Heavyweight Champion, WWE Champion, defeating "Stone Cold" Steve Austin at the 1998 King of the Ring, in a First Blood Match, runs as WWE Intercontinental Champion and he was an ECW World Champion as well. As well as having an impressive list of singles and tag team championships, Kane is the winner of the 2010 Money in the Bank Match.
Kane is arguably in the top 5 best big men in WWE history, being an agile and fast opponent in the ring and very few wrestlers as large in stature, have accomplished as much and has had the immense success in the WWE than he has. The WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony will take place on April 6th on the NBC's Peacock Network and the WWE Network everywhere else.
