It's reported that Smashing Pumpkins Front Man and NWA Owner Billy Corgan could be shutting down the promotion, as per former WWE, ECW & WCW Star Raven, who commented that he heard of Corgan's plan to shut the promotion down permanently.
"I think Billy’s shutting it down, from what I hear. I heard from the grapevine, I heard that Billy’s not opening it back up, he’s really disillusioned."
Before the COVID-19 Pandemic the promotion was gaining momentum, but amidst sexual assault allegation against NWA Vice President David Lagana, which led to his resignation, these factors could be enough for Corgan to close shop on the NWA. Raven has worked with Corgan on several occasions, so what he is saying could be entirely possible.
