Travel Restrictions Could Possibly Disrupt Plans For Employees In AEW & WWE

The State of Connecticut has imposed travel restrictions at midnight last night, whereby a person traveling to a high risk state (meaning a positive test rate higher than 10 per 100,000 residents over a 7-day rolling average or a 10 percent or higher positivity rate over a 7-day rolling average), must be quarantined for 14 days.

This restriction applies to the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Washington, Utah, and Texas. Florida is the home to both AEW and WWE tapings. So, this could pose major problems for both promotions, due to AEW using mostly talent from the Florida area and WWE's staff will most likely only be able to travel every two weeks at most, in order to adhere to the new travel restrictions. If staff and performers from AEW & WWE can provide a negative COVID-19 test result, then exceptions to the travel restriction may possibly happen.
