Former multiple time World Heavyweight Champion and star of the massively popular Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, Batista vented his frustrations via. his official Twitter account, over the apparent snub by the WWE, when he wasn't invited to SmackDown Live's 1000th Episode. He commented.
“Surprise surprise!! I wasn’t invited! And it’s in my hometown.! Guess by now I shouldn’t be shocked anymore.”
Most wrestling fans would agree with his statement, considering he was a popular star on the WWE Roster. Not to mention transitioning to a huge Marvel Franchise in Guardians of the Galaxy, WWE can always utilize his star power to boost ratings, but shortsightedness isn't a new thing in the company.
