From his Official Twitter Account, legendary professional wrestling announcer Jim Ross posted the deeply sad news, of the passing of arguably the greatest manager in the business, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.
Heenan was an icon in the business of professional wrestling, who managed WWE Hall of Famer and former WWE Champion Andre the Giant, "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig, Ric Flair and many other former WWE Superstars. Heenan started out in the AWA in the 1970's, then made the trip to the big top of the WWE. Heenan was also a staple in WCW, as part of the color commentary team, alongside Tony tony Schiavone.
Heenan's quick wit and sharp remarks made him a household name and many professional wrestling managers owe their careers to him. In the past few years, Heenan was battling serious health issues, most notably Cancer, as he had his lower jaw removed as part of treatment for said Cancer.
The professional wrestling world will not be the same without Heenan, he was 73 years old.
