According to several reports, former 16 time World Heavyweight Champion and WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, was admitted to hospital on August 12th originally reported for "heart related issues". Flair's manager released a statement that Flair was admitted to hospital for a routine monitoring regimen.
“Yes, Ric is checked into a hospital for some routine monitoring. No, there is no reason to panic. Yes, we’d like to thank his fiancé & the incredible hospital staff who are providing the best care. No, we cannot answer any personal questions. Yes, Ric would want you to go out and have a great weekend...Nature Boy style!”
Flair does have a history of heart related issues, which have prevented him from returning to a WWE Ring to wrestle, as the company has stringent medical safety protocols on having its wrestlers have no on going major health related issues while competing.
