In a recent sit down with Chris Van Vilet, former 16 Time World Heavyweight Champion and two time WWE Hall of Famer "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair commented on fellow world champion John Cena possibly beating his current world title record. Flair commented that he thinks it won't happen, but if it did he'd be in favor of it.

“No (I don’t think Cena will break the record), I think John is kind of winding down (in his career). He’s got so many things going on. I wouldn’t be surprised if he would be a host on Good Morning America or The Today Show. He loves wrestling, but he got so diversified that I don’t think I’ll see him chasing the championship. If he does, I’m all about it.”

Cena does have a lot on his plate nowadays, with increased acting gigs so it remains to be seen if a seventeenth world title reign is in his future.
