Update On WWE Network Subscriber Count & Vince McMahon Comments On The Mae Young Classic

WWE reported earlier today that its current subscriber count for the WWE Network is hovering around the 1.57 million mark as of June 30th. the current count is nearly identical to the count that was reported during the first quarter at the end of March, 2017. The day after WrestleMania 33 however, the count was approx. 1.66 million subscribers.

During the same conference call, WWE CEO Vince McMahon commented on the Mae Young Classic, which will be aired on the WWE Network on August 28th.

"The Mae Young Classic is really an opportunity for us to bring up young female performers, which is vital actually to our overall product,"
