There seems to be some conflicting reports as to Shelton Benjamin's status with the WWE, in terms of making a return to the company soon. According to the Wrestling Observer specifically, Dave Meltzer commented that no terms have been agreed upon between Benjamin and the WWE, but according to Ryan Satin of ProWrestlingSheet.com, a deal between the WWE and Benjamin is set in stone.

Satin commented on Twitter about Benjamin:

"Did the Observer report that Shelton Benjamin hasn't signed with WWE? If so, that's false. My sources say his deal is now done."

Benjamin was reported to return to the WWE shortly after the new SmackDown Live - Brand Split, but an injury to his shoulder and subsequent surgery to said shoulder put the brakes on that. From what Satin says though, it looks like the WWE is ready to bring Benjamin back to fold.
