Bill Eadie, who is best known to most wrestling fans as Ax of Demolition, one half of one of the greatest tag teams in history, has officially retired from professional wrestling at the age of 69. Eadie wrestled his final match at an IWWA event, in Parkersburg, West Virginia on June 3rd.

Eadie was also accepted to the IWWA Hall of Fame and his inductee was Jim Cornette. Eadie wrestled as Ax from Demolition, as he teamed with Bulldozer and The Nightmare. The Trio faced Tony Atlas and IWWA Tag Team Champions Adam Parsons & Brad Thomas.

In addition to his persona as Ax of Demolition, Eadie was well known to wrestling fans, as he wrestled under a mask as 'The Masked Superstar' in the 1970s and as Geto Mongol as well. We here at Pro Wrestling Slam! wish Bill Eadie a very happy retirement.
