WWE.com announced on its website that former eight time NWA World Heavyweight Champion Harley Race suffered a serious fall, in his home in Troy, Missouri this past Tuesday. Race suffered a fracture to his right femur and sustained breaks in his left fibula and tibia, as well as a spiral break in his left ankle.
Race received emergency surgery, to relieve the swelling in both legs Tuesday night and received four blood transfusions as well. Race then underwent surgery on Friday to reset the fractures in said legs.
