Multiple time WWE Champion John Cena, has apparently been asked to return to the company earlier than was originally planned and he may make his return to the company at WWE Money in the Bank on June 18th. This could be the creative shuffling we discussed yesterday, when we reported that Braun Strowman will be out for several months, due to injury.
If Cena does indeed return to the company early, he could be the substitute for Strowman, to face Brock Lesnar at Great Balls of Fire in July, for the WWE Universal Championship.
