The May 2nd edition of WWE SmackDown earned an overall average rating of 1.62, which is significantly down from the past two weeks ratings of 1.71 and 1.72 respectively. The 1.62 is well below the average for the month of April, which is 1.90 and March, which is 1.83. The average rating for 2017 thus far before this week was 1.85, so this rating for May 2nd doesn't bode well for SmackDown's 2017 average.
