According to PWTorch.com, the biopic on WWE CEO Vince McMahon has officially been given the go ahead. The film will be produced by WWE Studios and by Tristar Pictures. The site speculated that it will most likely not be an in-depth "tell all" on the life of the pro wrestling mogul, but it will be an interesting watch nonetheless.
iMDB reporter Gary Collinson commented on the the upcoming film on McMahon's life.
“The script by Craig A. Williams has been generating interest since last year, although studios were reluctant to commit as it had not received the blessing of WWE or Vince McMahon. However, producer Andrew Lazar (American Sniper) secured McMahon’s life rights in recent weeks, leading TriStar to make its move to snap up the project.”
