WWE.com announced that The Fabulous Freebirds, will be the latest inductees for the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2016. The past few months there was much speculation on whether or not the Freebirds would get the nod for this years WWE Hall of Fame. Most wrestling fans remember the Freebirds and their heated rivalry with the iconic wrestling of the Von Erichs in the heyday of the National Wrestling Alliance, which evolved into some memorable and classic wrestling matches. The Freebirds have held numerous championships in their illustrious career in professional wrestling, and many fans are in agreement that an indication to the WWE Hall of Fame is long overdue. Obviously it's no-brainer to put the Texas fan favorites in, considering that the WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony will take place in the Lone Star State in April.
