According to an official statement from TNA Executive John Gaburick, Awesome Kong has been released by the company, following an investigation between an altercation between Kong and fellow TNA Knockout Reby Sky, which occurred last week while TNA was on tour in the UK. “Kong has been a great contributor to TNA and helped solidify the Knockouts as the best female division in professional wrestling. We thank her and wish her well.” Said altercation between Kong and Sky happened backstage and Kong was sent back to the United States, while TNA was reviewing the situation.
