While this marks my return to the site that is formerly known as *Kayfabe Kickout as a Guest Writer, one thing that will not change; Hard-hitting editorial from the best writers in this profession. Now, let's get to the story that is getting some headlines as of late: the rumors that WWE is bringing in New Japan Pro Wrestling stars. With 2016 in full swing, the WWE landscape will eventually change with the rumored acquisitions of AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows. The reports coming from Dave Meltzer and others state that the four men in question handed in their notices and heading to Vince McMahon’s One- Ring Circus. While this is not confirmed but the rumors are rampant, but here’s where I stand on the situation. While AJ Styles will bring some credibility to WWE coming from TNA, since a few wrestlers made themselves known to the WWE faithful. With AJ’s arrival, we might see a partnership with fellow ROH original Samoa Joe or form an alliance with Finn Balor if that is the case. With Doc Gallows’ return to WWE, he might be Intercontinental Championship material if they decide to bring him back, and teaming up with Karl Anderson will give a very high incentive to fans across the world. The members of New Japan’s Bullet Club will bring their high caliber talents to WWE, the business where they’re talents might be wasted. Shinsuke Nakamura, despite being an established veteran in Japan, will bring a level of intensity to the WWE locker room. While WWE locked up Kenta two years ago and Kana last year, WWE isn’t afraid to bring in top names from Japan and Nakamura will be the difference maker in the long haul. These men will be major players in WWE in a heartbeat, so these guys will bring their athletic talents to WWE’s biggest stage. With WWE in a creative slump, the arrival of Anderson, Gallows, Styles and Nakamura will bring plenty to the table creative-wise. While some will wrap up their appearances with NJPW and Ring of Honor, their stay with WWE will bring talent of epic proportions. Let’s hope Triple H locks them up before the rumors get more rampant. Will the Phil Jackson of pro wrestling bring the talent that is missing in months? Let's hope so. Send me your thoughts on this topic by contacting me on Twitter @matthewhollie.
