We all know that WWE hot shot having Daniel Bryan leave the Wyatt Family as it is a given that angle was supposed to go a bit longer. It was clear to us all that creative had no idea what to do with Bryan in trying to push him down the card. Just like any other time that the brass at WWE has tried to stop his momentum, he continues to rise. The fans and their “YES” chants will not stop, and cannot be stopped. The fans are telling WWE what to do in protest to what WWE IS doing to Bryan. Last Monday on Raw, the chants go so loud that even the commentators had to be quiet. You tried to release him back in 2010, didn’t work. You had him lose the World Title at WrestleMania 28 in 18 seconds, which also didn’t work. It’s like every time WWE tries to humiliate Bryan; his legend that started at armories and high school gymnasiums has only continued to rise. The greatest thing about Daniel Bryan is that being over is something that has been organic. This isn’t something that WWE created. The fans made the decision on this one because they have gotten tired of seeing the same shit week in and week out. They are tired of authority angles that have been going on since 1998, they are tired of Cena and Randy Orton feuding like it’s 2007 all over again, and they want to see something fresh. It’s about time that WWE does the right thing and give the man the damn crown. Depending on his concussion situation, if he is able to compete at Royal Rumble then he needs to be the winner and go on to WrestleMania and WIN the title. I know that WWE brass is probably having their balls tingle over the return of a 45 year old Batista and want to put all their stock into him, but he isn’t the right course of action OR your long term solution. Daniel Bryan is! What if Stone Cold Steve Austin hadn’t beaten Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XIV? It would have killed everything he had going for him! Of course the difference is that WWE had competition at the time which didn’t make room for them to serve agendas. They had to have their best players on the court at ALL TIMES! With no competition, they can keep dangling the Daniel Bryan carrot in front of us like they have been since SummerSlam because TNA has NXT dropout Derrick Bateman (Ethan Carter III) as its top act. It’s time for the McMahon’s and Triple H to stop cutting off the nose to spite the face and listen to the people who are buying tickets, watching TV, and are about to shell out cash for the WWE Network. Go all the way with Daniel Bryan. Let him be the top dog in a time where you are currently relying on part timers and legends from the past to sell your biggest show. Does WWE brass want to railroad this because it’s organic? Is it because it is something that they didn’t come up with? We all know how WWE hates anything in wrestling that gets over that they didn’t have a hand in creating (See Ryder, Zack). I feel that the crowd reaction is just too big to stop Bryan’s momentum. It is time to just roll with it and see where it goes. Forget that he is a geeky dude with a geeky beard because that is irrelevant at this point. The fans don’t give a shit about that! They don’t care that he is a vegan or that he doesn’t own a TV. They only care that Daniel Bryan is the one they want to be top dog in WWE.
