Why Isn’t WWE Using Wrestlers More Properly?

Since the beginning of professional wrestling, fans have always had something to say about their favorite wrestlers not being used properly but lately it seems like WWE has been excessively neglecting some of their best talents through the lack of using them. This worries many fans into thinking their favorite wrestlers could soon be getting released, especially considering WWE made recent NXT and Corporate cuts. Unfortunately, it’s only a matter of time before we see main roster cuts which will definitely upset fans once they see wrestlers released that they thought had much potential. Until those cuts are made, fans can only speculate who will be cut and hope their favorites aren’t released but pushed instead. But which talents do fans think deserve a decent push? While some fans are glad that Curtis Axel is finally getting his push, they still think wrestlers like Justin Gabriel, Damien Sandow, Darren Young, Titus O’Neil, Alex Riley, Cody Rhodes, JTG, Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno as well as Divas like Tamina Snuka, Rosa Mendes, Layla El, Cameron, Naomi, Natalya and Aksana should be getting better pushes. Some fans even think the champions in WWE such as WWE Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett, WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose, WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn and WWE Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns aren’t being pushed properly. Because of this, WWE is making their champions look less credible by constantly jobbing them and not featuring them on the shows. Many fans agree that the champions should be featured on the shows and winning matches consistently, regardless of them being a heel or a face. Due to the wrestlers mentioned above not getting the pushes they deserve, fans have to wonder why these well-deserving wrestlers aren’t getting pushed. Some would say it’s because WWE Creative can’t come up with any good storylines for these wrestlers. Others would say it’s because WWE is too focused on pushing the same wrestlers they have been pushing for years instead of giving some of the newer guys and ladies a chance. This is something I agree with as we have seen WWE Superstars like Randy Orton and John Cena constantly being pushed and given title shots. While these WWE Superstars have paid their dues to get where they are today, I feel like it should be time for them to take a step to the side and let some of the newer guys have their moment in the spotlight. WWE can also give the wrestlers more ring time and backstage segments by not excessively showing recaps and promoting Tout and the WWE App like they constantly do. By doing this, WWE will be bringing something fresh and interesting to their shows instead of doing the same old, overdone thing. By giving someone new a chance, it may just benefit WWE’s business more financially and lead to increased viewership, merchandise sales and ticket sales.
