Within 30 seconds of The Rock beating CM Punk, all over the internet wrestling community I saw a bunch of people whining and complaining about a part timer winning the WWE Title. Look folks, The Rock isn't just some goof up off the street who started wrestling yesterday, he is one of the greatest of all time in WWE lore. There are people on Facebook and Twitter right now who are claiming they are going to stop watching WWE, others are cursing the Rock out, and some are acting like it is truly the end of the wrestling world. Cena won the Royal Rumble and the Rock won the WWE Title, so it looks like at WrestleMania 29 we are gonna get Rock vs Cena II where Cena will win because WWE likes to have guys trade wins. I'm not a big fan of John Cena winning the Rumble OR the Rock winning the WWE Title, but in the end the main reason why this was all done was because this is going to be what draws money for WrestleMania. In the world of fake fighting do you know what is the most important thing? DRAWING MONEY! HAVING A HUGE ASS BUY-RATE! That is why things are going this way. Anyone who says that "it isn't fair to Punk" or "It isn't fair to the current roster" needs to really calm their mark rage down and understand that what they are watching isn't real, and that none of the guys on the current roster can really draw like The Rock can. I am sure CM Punk isn't as butt-hurt as a lot of you folks out there in the Internet Wrestling Community are about losing his championship. That is because Punk knows that the belt that he had was given to him by a promoter, and that his task was to hang on to that belt until The Rock came in to relieve him of it. Those seeds were sewn back in July during the 1000th episode of Raw. CM Punk is my favorite wrestler right now, and I honestly feel that in the big picture that CM Punk is going to be bigger than ever once all of the dust settles. He made the WWE Title mean more than it had in YEARS during his 434 days as the champion! I feel that as wrestling fans who are on the "Road to WrestleMania" that you all need to just sit back and enjoy the ride there. In the end, we all knew this was going to happen anyhow, so why get all bent out of shape because of it? A lot can happen between now and WrestleMania 29, and some of the things we are predicting are going to happen may not even happen. Instead of getting mad at wrestling, not watching WWE or what have you, maybe you should continue to watch and to see what will happen next. Don't take this stuff so freaking seriously people, the goal is to be entertained at the end of the day. That is why I started in the first place, and that is probably the reason you started watching too. And if you truly don't like what had taken place at the Royal Rumble, then go ahead take you mark rage tantrum, pick up your ball and go home. FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO WATCH!
