Wrestling The Status Quo

So on Sunday Night WWE drops the ball with Ryback by using a ball shot crooked referee of all things. It was a cliched, convoluted finish to end a crappy Pay Per View where a match between The Big Show & Sheamus ended up being match of the night. I'm not going to say I was surprised at all because WWE creative always screws it up when it counts. I stick by my opinion that anything other than Ryback losing would be an epic fail. The next night, we get a crappy Raw to follow up the crappy Pay Per View. Ryback goes from main eventing to squashing JTG because Vickie Guerrero said so, and we have no explanation as to why JTG was forced to fight Ryback they just jobbed him out. This bring me to my next point, AJ Lee gets fired from being a GM because she had an "affair" with John Cena. If they aren't married and they are two consenting adults, then what is the problem? Then we have Vickie Guerreo playing the "evil boss" and AJ playing the target employee. PLEASE! The evil boss storyline has been used since 1998, and it's a played out concept. If you're an evil boss, and you're in charge, why not simply fire the person you dislike? Lazy booking 101.

For Survivor Series we have Team Foley vs Team Punk. So we have all the same guys who have been wrestling each other for the last 2-3 months wrestling AGAIN in a Survivor Series style match up this time. WWE treats having one Survivor Series match up as some kind of treat. I feel they should have maybe 2 or 3 more Team matches to make it worth actually paying for. In the next few weeks, we will get a better look at how the card is going to shape up; will we get more Survivor Series type matches or will we get more filler? All I know is that all of the above observations make WWE status quo. Same shit, different toilet. For feedback, email me at invidwarriorz@gmail.com or you can follow me on Twitter @whosantcox.
